guess where i am? Thats right, i am in Porto in Portugal. I am in the only internet pad in town and they smoke a lot and place nik kershaw and bon jovi, something to do with eighties hour. You would not believe the stuff going down in between Madrid and here. I have seen cows and snakes and guinea pigs and cats and budgies, and this was before I even left my tent. The other day I was attacked by a pack of 3 wild kittens, there was more cat dribbles and purring than you can shake several sticks at . . .I lost 3 cheese triangles and 2 pieces of ham. Luckily they were chased off by a rabid pitbull, that was a bit lucky, could have got nasty. I have some statistics for anyone that is interested. All very interesting. Anyway, Portugal is a lovely place despite a rather large amount of water falling from the sky and very large difficult mountains. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. There seems to be much inter family breeding going on. I went into one village and I thought I had walked into a filmset for the hobbit. There were more dwarfs and humps than you can possibly imagine . . so dont try. I met one bloke who was so interbred that he was in fact his own father. All very friendly though. I think there is some understanding that both Portugal and England are both small countries who have gone out and conquered stuff and then lost it all and have fuck all to show for it. They are now playing Duran Duran. . . . .re flex flex flec flexxxx. ah . . those were the days. I am off south where there is promise of more sun and waves and beer. I hope that everyone is doing nicely. Apparently it was Halloween the other day but I missed it because i was stuck in a valley with a puncture, my bike not the valley.
