hallo Damen und Herren, well, I must be doing something right, I have had 4 ticks already. . . . grass ticks that is. One on my leg, one on my inner thigh, one on my arm and one in my bellybutton of all places. Fuck knows how it got there. Its ok though, to remove them you have to pinch the ticks body between your fingers and twist anticlockwise. This prevents the head (which is rather cleverly buried into the skin) from coming off .. . causing infection etc. And there ends the first lesson on ticks. I hope you enjoyed it Anyway, just to let you know, I am in Passau, a lovely little town on the River Inn and Donea on the German Austrian border. Lots of people with bumbags eating sausages and drinking beer. I have been cycling believe it or not. Many hills. It seems that the names in Germany are just as amusing as the rest of Europe, despite being slightly more sinister. In France there was Gay, Ferte, Toul and Gland, In Germany there is Frankenstein, Bad Hombugger, Fisten and bumbanditten. I just dont know who thinks them up. There are many mountains here, I have been enjoying it more and more. The sun has been out for the last 2 days and Im off along some river thing to Innsbruch. Apparently there are some uppy downy things that sound like a breakfast cereal. It all sounds very interesting. Been sleeping in the forest more and more. There are mad barking pig things in all of them, I have tried to imagine that they are large guinea pigs and that seems to help. Thats it really, hope that you are all being good and stuff.
