Dana Cosley was involved in CYNIC after the departure of Tony Teegarden. Formerly from Florida based Deathsters DEMONOMACY, Dana was the vital fifth member in the Cynic live show, playing keyboards and doing the Death style vocals. She is now believed to be studying martial arts still in the Florida area. |
Tony Choy could easily be considered to be the most important ex-member of Cynic, being the long time bass player up until the recording of FOCUS Whilst playing for Cynic, he was involved with the Dutch Death band PESTILENCE, touring with them on the "Testimony of the Ancients" tour and also heavily involved with ATHEIST, another Florida based band which required a formidable bass talent to follow their semi-legendary late bassist, ROGER PATTERSON. Tony was involved with the writing and recording of ATHEIST's 2nd and 3rd LP's, namely "Unquestionable Presence" and "Elements", the latter being a tour de force of latin jazz metal, which seems to be Choy's passion. Currently he is believed to be working as a session bassist on Cruise liners, playing latin jazz. He has also worked with Sean Reinert after his leaving CYNIC. |

It is unclear as to how Tony Teegarden came to be linked with CYNIC, however he performed on the FOCUS lp and played with the Band on both their European tour and the first few shows of the US tour. He was responsible for the Deathly vocals on FOCUS and played keyboards in the live show. There is little information on what is he is doing now. |
Chris Kringle is the 3rd significant Bass player for CYNIC. He was involved when Sean Malone could not tour with the band on their Ill-fated European tour with Pestilence. Upon his return, he was considered for permanent bass duties, but was not to tour with the band in the US, as Sean Malone was able to participate on that particular tour. However Kringle was a member of the Post CYNIC band PORTAL, playing on both of their demos. He is currently studying and playing in the Wisconsin area. |
