History
NOWWASHYOURHANDS hasn't always been a design company. In 1999, co-founder Tim Spear created an online designers' portal focused on highlighting great web design and providing an outlet for his own creative ideas.
By hijacking the classic sanitary emblem and printing up a roll of stickers, Tim realised that he had an irresistible guerilla marketing mechanism for the website. The name stuck and NOWWASHYOURHANDS.COM developed into a popular destination for web designers worldwide.
Tim partnered with fellow designers Neil Jeffries and Angus Mackinnon in 2001 to form a design company. With its ready-made identity and audience, NOWWASHYOURHANDS seemed like the perfect name.
